The urea injector is inserted in the vehicle's exhaust pipe. It is responsible for pulverizing the urea and mixing it with the car's emissions so that the chemical reaction that decomposes the NOx polluting particles takes place.

The main failure of these urea injectors is the crystallization of urea. This occurs when the urea comes into contact with ambient humidity and crystals form that clog the injector.
